Nook mile islands are kinda bland, there really isn’t a lot to do at least in my experience. I know there’s some rare islands like a money island or tarantulas. Kapp’n islands can be a bit more interesting with bamboo islands, islands that are in fall, spring or winter even if your island isn’t, mushroom islands and even a star fragment island.

You can blame the tariffs, but the base price for a Switch 2 is ridiculously high even before tariffs. Nintendo knew they could sell it for that price and they were right.

I want to get one but I’m holding out for an AC special edition Switch 2. My backlog of games is enough to keep me busy if I get bored of animal crossing before then. I’ve never had the patience to hold out for a special edition so I’m trying to this time.

It really sucks for me. I prefer to play on the tv but fishing is nearly impossible because the input is super laggy and fish almost always get away. If I want to fish I have to play handheld. So I mostly don’t fish haha but I’ve already completed the critterpedia so I really don’t need to.

Technically nothing is, you can always go to a treasure island to replace anything. But if you don’t have access to them that’s of course a different story.

As for gifts, one of the best and easiest gifts I’ve found is the iron door hanger. It only takes 2 iron to make and sells for enough to get max friendship daily if wrapped.

I’m having a similar issue, I can’t fly to other islands because my NAT type is D which doesn’t allow the connection. You may need to call your service provider to get it fixed, that’s what I’ve done in the past. Not sure why it’s happening again though.
