Everything they do is in bad faith. Everything. They accuse the left of what they want the right to be doing. All of their political discourse is disingenuous, except for the few times where they admit they want fascistic dictatorship, which is now a growing public sentiment as they begin to shed the facade they have been espousing for decades.

They have always wanted a right wing dictator. Any comment to the contrary made in the past was, like most things they say or argue, done completely in bad faith. My only hope in this is that reasonable, rational people who kept giving them the benefit of the doubt will now wake up and never make that mistake again going forward. These goons are fascists and have always, always wanted fascistic authoritarianism and they never cared about anything else. These same people would accuse Obama of executive overreach or clutch their pearls because Hillary was under investigation and claim to love the constitution and our system of checks and balances, but look at those same people now and understand fully – none of that ever mattered to them and it has always been a zero-sum game where they need to say anything to win with the end goal always being oppressing the people they dont agree with under dictatorship.

Pure cope. Just has historically been the case, it will be better once a democrat comes in and cleans up the mess. Of course, doubtful we will have free and fair elections going forward sothings may never actually get better. Also dont trust anything R voters say, as they only argue in bad faith and spread propaganda and lies. Remember, these are the same people who insisted Trump knew nothing about and had nothing to do with p2025, and as soon as he won they turned around and gleefully said psych! Fooled ya!. The worse things get, the more they are going to lie and tell you it has to get worse before it gets better, until one day they drop the facade completely and say of course we were going to install an authoritarian oligarchy where the poors are serfs and our enemies are rounded up in camps, and you fell for it lol.

The sad thing is that Trump and his cohorts know this is 100% true, so expect them to do these kinds of things for the next 4 years and likely beyond. They will continue to rob us gleefully knowing there will be zero legal or political consequences for doing so.

More advanced than the decades that preceded it, but wasnt the shitshow we find ourselves in now. Wasnt a perfect time, but 9/11 hadnt happened yet, people werent addicted to their cell phones and social media. Politics wasnt so polarizing and insane. It was a fairly relaxed and chill time.
