Coincidentally, I just heard a podcast about a young prime minister of a then newly free Estonia that introduced Milton Friedman based economic policies. Perhaps a situation like this would be a good opportunity to experiment with actual freedom.

This doesn’t remotely hold up to scrutiny. If a business mistakenly dumps toxins into a public water supply, the users of the water also suffer.
