Depends how I feel. A little Gatorade is enough when I feel I need something but usually anything less than 2 hours, Im good unless Im really pushing.

I think its because until recently, most people were too focused on time. Its good to see the narrative change to distance being the priority.

I mean, did you expect a warm up km or something? If they were bang on 5:50 something the whole time, Id say they did a good job.

Theyre going faster because theyve been running for longer. You will improve over time. Im currently 30 and by now Ive got about 14-16 years of consistent running under my belt. You will get there if you keep it up.

Brooks are tried and true by most runners with wide feet (glycerins are my fav). I personally stay away from hokas. Always had fasciitis issues with them.
