You dont have to be a DOJ insider to figure this out, basic 2nd grade level critical thinking will arrive at a similar conclusion. Here, Ill show you. If they had criminal convictions, they would either be, In prison already Serving probation Free having already served their sentence. In any case, their criminal records would be available to the public. Notably, the Trump administration cites simply that they are accused of being terrorists and/or gang members, which is all it takes to make them eligible for deportation. They are not required to try them in court and convict them of any crimes, to deport them. Furthermore, even if you believed that they were convicted criminals, which of course they arent, no US court is going to sentence someone to serve a life sentence in a prison outside of US jurisdiction. obviously. These people were picked up off the street, and with no trial, no conviction, they were sent to a foreign prison. Thats horrific, and youre defending the indefensible. Its one thing to arrest these people (properly, by identifiable authorities under normal circumstances), give them a chance to defend themselves in the case a mistake was made and they are a legal resident or citizen, and then if found to be an undocumented immigrant, deport them to their most familiar country. To do it the way they are doing it, and send them to a foreign prison (often in a country these people have never set foot in their entire lives) never to be seen again, is a crime against humanity.

Conservatives have more power in government than moderates and progressives combined. of course there are going to be times where compromise is necessary. If conservatives were as unpopular as progressives, they wouldnt get the time of day. But thats not the reality of our situation, unfortunately.

What do you think Be purist during the primary, be practical during the general means? Ill be voting for someone much more left than Newsom during the primary. However, everyone left of MAGA is going to need to be willing to compromise if you want to boot MAGA out.

Then we have to win primaries, friend. Thats what they are there for. Ill do the best I can, but in the same way I expect moderates to support a radical leftist that wins the primary, I will still vote if a moderate wins.

You see, I also would love to see a dem pack the courts. You are mistaken to think I dont understand why it matters. I know it matters. But I also know, its not the only thing that matters. Realistically, we probably arent going to get a candidate that is willing to do it right now. That doesnt justify letting the GOP win. The reality is that its going to take a series of elections to get this country even remotely back on track to something desirable. And every time the dems lose, we are set back massively and have to make up that much ground the next time around. Change happens incrementally. You think one election is going to fix things overnight? It wont. But if we cant even stop the bleeding from the festering wound the GOP has inflicted, theres zero chance well ever get to the process of slow recovery and healing.
