Because of decades and decades of any socialism bad sentiment here. Look at the reaction to Obama and the democrats even passing the ACA. It met with massive backlash as socialist overreach, and the tea party Republicans were born and got swept into power and systematically chipped away at the ACA. This is the actual cycledemocrats try to move the Overton Window and pass a modest bill. The republicans with help from the media label it as Socialist and the backlash begins. One side says its a Socialist out of control government takeover. The other side says its a weak piece of legislation and democrats suck and dont do anything. The end result is democrats punished by both sides, republicans gain power and destroy democrats legislation and set us further and further back.

Again, how is pointing out the inequality in our healthcare system justifying his actions which I very clearly stated I do not agree with? Are you really saying that if you think our healthcare system is a failure and its wrong that medical bills are the leading cause of bankruptcyyou must also believe in assassinations?

lol How very naïve and trusting you are of the Supreme Court. Im also not sure you understand my previous comment about how right wing special interest groups would immediately challenge any universal healthcare legislation as unconstitutional. And they would win.

And hes responsible for Alito. And for two disastrous wars and collapsing the economy and overreaching executive power in the name of war on terror which paved the way for where we are now. He was a terrible president
