    For me, it was Dans reading of first-hand accounts. All i ever read was historical accounts of the battles, which were bad enough! And how the war ended with unfinished business for a great swathe of Europe, which helped set the stage for 2.

    Line of Battle doesnt produce the mostcinematically interesting combat, thats probably true. Wasnt boring for the men IN those Lines, however.
