This is exactly why I feel that Dexters true end should involve him getting captured or killed. As much as he tries to live by his code and keep things under control, he just ultimately cant. His way of life always eventually destroys everything and everyone close to him. Its not a sustainable system that he can ride off into the sunset to kill another day for indefinitely. Plus Im dying to see the reaction and confrontation between Dexter and his old coworkers that are still around, obviously mainly Batista. Ive never been against a Dexter Dies ending, just so long as it gives proper closure to his character and legacy. I know thats not really what was being discussed here, but since we are talking about all the innocent people that have died either directly or indirectly because of Dexter, it needed to be said.

Buddy, paramount plus has never worked properly for me. I watch my paramount plus shows/movie through Prime. When I watch them with the prime app, no issues. When I watch them through the paramount app, lots of glitches, buffering issues, etc.

Part of Dexters charm in the original series was his confidence and ability to pass himself off as a normal person. It makes sense that in the beginning he struggled with this and had to learn over time to adapt, but it is a different experience watching the original sin Dexter be so aloof and awkward to comical proportions. Michael C Hall Dexter was capable of being a chameleon and turning on the charisma when needed. Original Sin dexter hasnt even come close to figuring that strategy out yet.

The season itself was pretty great. Clancy Brown was a great casting imo. I also did not like the ending but seeing as how it leads into Original Sin and Resurrection Im not going to hold a grudge on it anymore.

Yeah I just mean when it does end. Not necessarily season 1 end.

Dexter will never contemplate killing Harrison. If Harrison breaks Dexters code, Dexter will only blame himself.

Ive always considered BB to be the better show between the two, because of how badly Dexter has missed the mark on its series finale and again in the ending to New Blood. But if they can nail the ending in Resurrection, Dexter will ultimately be the better show imo. Heres hoping.

I am not buying that its Prater. The Ripper was active during Praters childhood. It would be challenging for Prater to be a serial killer as is, as we have seen time and time again being a serial killer is physically demanding, even for Dexter who has been caught off guard and overpowered several times. No way Prater, as a child, was doing it. However, it could be that theres someone else, maybe someone we havent met yet, who is close with Prater, thats the Ripper. Maybe Prater is an accomplice and The Ripper is, similar to Trinity, a bit of a misnomer because its two people doing the killings and not a single killer.

Im not so sure about this. It is possible that somehow he knows Dexter isnt Red. But I dont see how he could know, yet, that hes the BHB.
