If I thought for a second that anything I listed would be any real news to you then I would, but I guarantee you know what’s going on and don’t care because it’s daddy Trump and he can’t do anything wrong.

The right wing party would never vote to impeach him. They tried it last time when the numbers were closer in the Senate and it failed.

I honestly put most of the blame on the Democrats, and I voted for Harris, Biden & Obama. But while I voted for each of them I’m not blind to the problems they have created over the years. Most of what dems have run for is basically, they’re not republicans. Obama did the ACA, but it was originally a Heritage Foundation idea (sound familiar?) instead of pushing for single payer healthcare or at least a public option. He bailed out the banks when the great recession hit instead of the people that lost their homes. Biden was much better than Obama on domestic policy, his economic stimulus checks gave him a huge boost in popularity and he fought for some genuinely progressive policies like student loan debt relief, the CHIPS act and the Inflation Reduction Act. Unfortunately he basically shit the bed on foreign policy when he backed Israel in their genocide. Harris lost by a very small amount, about 1.4% so had he cut off weapons and held Israel accountable for their war crimes it might’ve been enough to push her over the edge to win last year. That’s my two cents.

The big problem is campaign finance, it’s soooo expensive to run for office. If a candidate can get grass roots support that’s one thing but even then, if the opposition is beloved by the donor class they could very well pour money into the election to make sure their candidate wins.

Again, hard disagree. Not one republican in the House or Senate has disagreed with Elon’s spending cuts whether it’s USAID, Ukraine, Federal employees and so on. Matter of fact some have been openly celebrating the cuts and screaming for more.

I disagree. Yes, his reasoning was not that the cuts did not go far enough. However, had they been the exact same cuts or even LARGER cuts, he would not have bat an eye at voting yes if they had managed to cut spending in other areas.

I would call voting for a proven fascist as a “reaction” that is much worse than being told “I told you so”.
