Because they’re on the inside, especially Musk. He knows when things are going to happen so he can sell beforehand then when things hit rock bottom, buy it all up and make a fortune as corporations get bailouts. Like I said, these oligarchs made billions after the great recession and Covid. Trump is trying to recreate that on purpose.

Trump is trying to create a recession to make himself and his oligarch buddies richer. It’s happened both times before during the great recession and covid. Now it’s on purpose and he doesn’t care what the aftermath is as long as they all get richer.

Mine was quick, filed immediately and got back a refund within a couple weeks. Normal amount. I expect if the republicans get their budget passed this’ll be my final refund for a while.

Well, they could have started by voting against everything put forward by Trump and the GOP. They did not. Many voted for the Laken Riley act as well as Trumps cabinet. Other things they could do is educate the country on tv and town halls what Trump and Republicans are doing that are not only extremely unpopular but illegal like DOGE shutting down agencies and firing people. They are unelected and Congress has the power of the purse. They should be filing daily lawsuits against every single policy and firing, whether it’s illegal or not to slow them down.

You’re non-partisan full of crap. There’s a huge difference between agreed upon tariffs vs what is happening now. Trump is trying to tank the American economy in order to make himself and his billionaire buddies even richer. Why is the FED changing the forecast from an expansion of the economy to a contraction after the tariffs were announced?
