They do this to artificially increase their measure of popularity. Facebook permits some users to make other users follow them without permission.

Facebook has been drowning me in Jeezus advertising for a couple of weeks now. Some are paid ads and some are posts from Jeezus businesses. As soon as I block the accounts that post them the posts reappear. And I’m powerless to stop the ads because ads can’t be blocked.

I don’t expect it to eliminate the scammers, but I report them anyway. I also block them.

I block every advertisement I possibly can. That way the algorithm will never catch me looking at something I don’t want to look at.

I can’t believe that. I’m saying horrible shit on Facebook all the time but all my bans have been temporary.

Yes, my Facebook feed is loaded with pro-Trump messages. Especially, religious groups that worship Trump.
