I miss my old landlord, honestly. And I miss the old rent price. It was what the place is worth. 2k for this place aint worth it and its 100% a money leeching landlord old couple.

Not at all the case. Owner lived in a different state and was tired of trying to manage a building 2k miles away. He had tenants help with stuff, me included, for rent deductions. All buildings nearby are the same exact buildings, same square footage in units, but different owners. All tenants of those properties still pay 1500, give or take. And minus a couple that get rented out as fully furnished units, so 2k for those couple units. I’ve done my research. New owners just want more money, end of story.

We looked for a home to buy but the mortgage agent we picked flaked and stopped communicating with us and so my credit took a big hit for no reason and had to stay. Been practicing malicious compliance with the new owners and been having a fun time because things actually get done when you mention you know the legalities behind X and Y matter not being addressed.

Almost exactly happened to me. Payed 1450, building got sold, welcome letter from new owners said “hello, we are the new owners, rent goes up by 500 for each unit.” Zero improvements done.

US gun average ratio is 1.5 guns per citizen per capita(Lower 48 states). Alaska however, is between 3 and 5 guns per citizen per capita. And that doesn’t include all the military personnel that make up almost a third of the total constant population.

Alaskan here. We citizens are armed to the teeth. Everyone and their pet owns guns. It’ll be some serious Red Dawn shit of Russia decides they want Alaska back. There will be fighting. And Russia will lose to Alaskan citizens, not military.

Russia has suffered over a million losses while Ukraine has only lost about 80k with roughly 400k injuries. They wont have shit left to bring here if they want to. And our military components have resources and capabilities the citizens dont have. Russia will lose.
