Honestly who can even take the government seriously after this passes? Even once Trump is dead and gone, weve all witnessed how quickly a supposedly sane and rule-of-law government can quickly fold to the whims of extremists and discard any facade of stability and norms. I dont see why any sane rational people would willingly choose to work for a government agency going forward, knowing it could easily turn on them almost overnight.

This is not the country I grew up in and its clear we are never going back. I wont claim America was ever perfect, but Jesus Christ it was a lot better than whatever fucking immoral, shitty hellscape its becoming.

Theres a lot of very well-qualified candidates vying hard for that position, so I wouldnt be so sure.
