It will do well for approximately five weeks and then friends desiring BBQ will text each other “Heim? Railhead? Goldee’s? Panther City?” and then once that texting scales, it will close. And The Office bar, like a Twinkie in a nukes situation, will still be there, with the same retired Haltom City crowd pounding Coors Light in there every Friday night.

In fairness, the guys behind Bubba’s are more above par (and board) then the downtown bail bonds guys, so there’s that. Don’t ask me how I know that. (It’s not about me.)

Most Republicans I meet and bullshit with (some “money guys”) don’t like him, have heard all the steam room rumors and are very excited to tell you what they know, and generally dismiss him as a “necessary evil.” I don’t fully understand it, but I’m also broke and not really a Republican, so it’s not my world.
