He’s close to getting ended. The establishment GOP around the state realizes he’s a distraction. Look at his stuff on this sub. It usually blows up with people being like “Whoa, what? He said what?” Remember: he started in 2023. Allred won this county over Cruz. In 2025, he lost most of the elections he turned attention to. He regularly blames Democrats for everything, even tho they have no majorities anywhere. The City Council is now arguably 50 percent Democrat. If Harris had somehow won Tarrant by even 1 point, he’d already be gone. His entire personality and ability to keep this job is based on a 79 year-old man who is currently sundowning and legally cannot be President again (for now). Take away Trump and some of the west Texas money tied to Bo and he’s literally nothing. And he spews this hate because in his soul, he knows he’s nothing.

It’s nothing to sneeze at if those are the real numbers, absolutely.

He’s about as rough as it gets locally.

Yea. I try to limit to maybe twice/month. Sometimes the take is too much to not spread it out.

I think we’d blame it, at that point, on something “woke.” Like maybe Proctor and Gamble ran an ad where dads hug their sons. That’s the ticket….

The second paragraph nails it. No one working at this presumptive facility will live or spend money in Fort Worth. These are the types of guys and gals who will live here seven years and you ask them if they’ve ever been to Sundance Square. “What’s that, again?” Many such cases. City government is mostly about (at the elected level) getting the approval of Bass family members, Dee Kelly Jr., and a couple of other people. And those types like “Oh, we landed a big company!” — even if they don’t think through the actual steps of where those theoretical “employees” will eventually become consumers and parent volunteers.

Isnt that about 28 percent of the country?

I just think he’s a good representation of how far the idea of “what it means to be a conservative” has fallen. A lot of people around here still vote R, and still consider themselves conservative on face. But they’re very confused by some of the “policies” and how the only real platform seems to be fealty to Trump. He’s a great encapsulation of it. If you stripped two country clubs and NE Tarrant County away from this guy, he’d probably be one of those “noble savages.”
