For as long as I can remember now theres always at least one democrat member of congress who needs to be bucking the party. Its so aggravating

I can definitely get on board with taking away the lifetime appointments (which again Manchin and Sinema would not be interested in). But Im still stuck at say you do expand the court. Republicans will get back into power and theyll do the same and it will be this back and forth adding justices until the court essentially becomes irrelevant.

Shes such a wonkbut its part of the reason I like her so much

That doesnt answer my question. How does expanding the Supreme Court solve the problem if Republicans will just add their own?

We will never know what a Harris Administration would have looked like. Like I said before. We are now in a position that if Elon gives up his grip on the federal government and democrats are able to get back into power well have to rebuild our entire foreign aid program from scratch. Weve allowed an unelected and unappointed billionaire to take a wrecking ball to our government and foreign policy.

What good would expanding the court do? Republicans would just expand it further now they are back in power. And back and forth. If Democrats were serious about the Supreme Court they should have shown up in 2016 rather than being in a position to have to reshape the entire Supreme Court. My point was when Trump won in 2016, and I knew the court was gone.

Because Bibi knew the election was upcoming and Biden was extremely weak and unpopular at home. He had zero incentive to work with the Biden administration. And if the administration completely stopped providing weapons, just call them weak, pro Hamas terrorist supporters who hate our allies. My point is had Harris won she would have been in a stronger position at home since she wasnt looking at an election and Bibis buddy Donald Trump would have finally been out of the picture (well in his 80s by the next election)

Disagree, it was more than that..people just didnt care to listen and it didnt break through in large part for the reasons I noted above. But thats how it always gets presented, Dems only speak about institutions. I never forget right after Hillary lost someone commented dont care she lost because she said nothing about mass incarceration. Took me two seconds to find a speech where she talked about that very issue and on her website a proposed (and very progressive) policy. The message doesnt break through and people dont care to look or listen.

Ok maybe slowed down would have been better wording. I still think she would have pushed for a ceasefire as she stated. And since Trump was not an option to develop Trump Hotel Gaza Bibi would have to work with Harris. But now well never know and not only will Palestinians continue to suffer atrocities, our entire system to provide any international aid has been completely dismantled in a matter of weeks. Aid workers told to come back to the US or the military will come get them. Its horrific

Because the Right has a vast media system and billionaires like Bezos has bought up and run media like WaPo and FB and.well we know what happened with Twitter. None of them have any incentive or desire to run Democratic messaging. I dont know what the answer to that is. And I disagree that there was no messaging about how it would adversely impact them. People were well warned about the Republican agenda. No one cared.
