How to people still not get that the right wing media has for decades labeled liberals as the enemy. In the 90s Limbaugh famously labeled feminists as Feminazis the President has called us lunatics and on and on. This just gave them a chance to really start letting out that rage against liberals.

I think that its a desire to message that were not like the conspiratorial right theres a tendency to overcorrect. As far as where they have shifted, I think Tommy has swung more left, Jon F maybe more to the center, the others cant really say.

Yes, as vile as his rhetoric was, it was engagement. And not only that it was highly effective in getting young men in particular over to the right and politically active. Thats why he was so beloved with so many right wing political figures. For those downvoting, feel free to tell me where I am wrong.
