We can be bold and continue to advance. If there was someone who could inspire the world to cooperate by routing 10% of their annual military budget to a cooperative space program, we would see leaps in technology greater than any in history. If I’m going to wish for a crazy fantasy that gets us to Mars, I might as well hope for John Carter’s method.
