It’s a way off base and unwarranted analogy. In order for Ozzy to be our “Elvis” he’d need to appeal to Boomers and the following generations and held in the same regard. The only connection I can see is the two syllable name, that’s it. Our generation’s Elvis would be Curt Kobain, in my opinion.

Boom, right with you OldMan Bowie is bar none. And way more under-rated Tom Waits and Nick Cave.

Tom Waits is without question or comparison the GOAT. Nick Cave running a close second as my favorite singer / songwriter. Unfortunately to the majority of these pop-culture conformists they remain under the radar still.

BJ yes, fuck PC I fucking cannot stand In The Air Tonight, I’d die a happy X’r to never hear that shitass track again. Way the fuck too overplayed and awful af lie about about someone else. When I was kid my father would come home from work every goddamn day, get stoned and play Genesis Abacab, FUCK THAT album. I hate it. He also played Bob Marley’s Uprising and Supertramp Breakfast In America, hated Marley until I was a late teenager and then I got it. Supertramp was fine. Fuck Genesis and Phil Collins.

My family had an Atari 800 by 1985, we never had a gaming system but my father threw down for our 800. Our schools had Apple 2Es by 1984, Swashbuckler was my favorite game.
