Its a sovereign US government coin protected of counterfeiting by federal law whereas bullion coins and bars are fakes only, less of a crime. Sovereigns have more protection, easier to verify and easier to liquidate.

If you need to ask Reddit then dont fucking buy it. If its already in your possession take it a trustworthy coin shop and get it fucking tested. Wtf is wrong with people buying then asking or seeking confirmation on Reddit. Jfc get off your ass and figure it out. We cant tell you. If youre buying only purchase from a website or store thats trustworthy. If its a private sale do it somewhere it can be tested. So fucking sick all these same ass, is it real, whats it worth fucking amateur hours posts.

Take a breath, calm down and be poised for when the next time is right. Keep in mind while gold has steadily increased through it’s life cycle, it’s also been prone to market trends even though it’s always recovered after major downturns. Take a look at what happened during covid and housing crises of 2008 and every other major market dump over the last 90 years. IMO buying while it’s at the top is not wise, wait for a significant dip and then jump in deep. Remember it’s not an investment, it’s store of value.

Keep in mind both have the exact same weight in gold, which is why they’re basically the same price and premium. The eagle has some copper in it and because of this it’s a bit more durable but either one is gtg. If you plan to pocket carry the eagle may work better since it’s harder to scratch.

OP asked AGE or Valcambi bar, to answer your query though either buffalo or eagle is gtg. I have one buffalo to look at and multiple eagles in my stack. To each their own.
