Sovereigns are prettier. I have both but want more Sovereigns because Saint George, warrior angels are badass.

Since you asked I think goldbacks are silly, a waste of money and a honey pot for suckers.

Con-fuckin-gradulations op!! 30 Sovereign inheritance is amazing. Whoever left those for you is awesome!

Depends on your use case OP. Like others have pointed they’re both assets and gold is more liquid. Land can be utilized to live on, grow food, hunt, mine gold if able, etc. It all depends on if you already have home / land with which to develop your life. Really it’s a both and, if you are starting with neither likely land first.

Yes, both and is the answer. The one who holds the gold wins, looking like a winner OP.

The one you hold is the best.

I bought most of my stack in 2020 and unfortunately needed to sell about half to survive 2022. I was shocked when I started paying attention again this year. Long story short I needed loan form a friend for $10k in 2023, I gave him 5 ounces collateral. This year paid him back and saw the new normal and was grateful for the stack I still have, and that I took a loan rather than selling those in 2023. I’ve got more liquidity this year and just have not been able to buy in at this price. I know it’s likely only going up but for me it’s a matter of being happy with what I’ve got. At this point the liquidity is more important than adding more assets.
