Get a friend or family to be there when it is received. Get over it, get on with it.

While my R92 is finicky w different .357 brands, my X357 eats absolutely everything of both calibers I’ve fed it.

Well that’s totally cool, sharp looking. Love wood stock.

I know it’s obvious to say this but this is one of the reasons why I always keep and store my firearm boxes. I had a recent RMA to Henry and was able to ship it in the box it came in inside another generic box I had from a stock I bought for another rifle. Always keep your firearm boxes.

Why did the buttstock and lever need replaced? It came in damaged from shipping. UPS is not the gentlest.

That makes sense. Fortunately it was a Henry walnut stock and forend otherwise I would have removed it prior to sending it in. Likely it was only cosmetic damage but for them thats an easy replacement.

This was returned today and I’m about to go out back and test it out. I emailed Henry with the same questions and thought either someone here with more experience could chime in or Henry has someone who tracks this sub. Either way I can let y’all know what their response is and what was replaced. I love Henry’s CS, seriously top shelf best I’ve dealt with. Good hunting y’all. edit: the barrel is definitely new which makes me think all the listed parts are new and replaced. The buttstock confuses me unless maybe they busted it and needed to replace. OMTS: outside magazine tube support, makes sense. It’s been loose since I installed the wood forend.
