Well, they already had a chance to do it and failed miserably. From alternative facts on the very first day to infrastructure, to not appointing key positions, to a north Korean summit, to covid response, to zelensky call, to Election rhetorically, to J6. It was a full-scale 9 alarm fire from before Election Day in 2016, and the media whiffed big time. They signaled to the donor class that they weren’t going to hold this Populist trash to the same standards as everyone else. Are you fucking serious right now?
