For me it was my dad. Rush tapped into something with white, middle/working class anger and grievance that defines the Republican Party today. Funny enough Rush is one of the reasons I didnt fall into my conservative upbringing. As a young woman in my early to mid teens I remember being so repulsed by Rushs misogyny even though I dont think I could have defined it at the time.

Oh I see. Well for starters, the politicization of the DOJ (firing Comey to block investigations he didnt like) is something Nixon could have only dreamed of.

What specifically are you asking that they have done? In terms of Trumps tariffs?

I think deport gives the sense that they just return to their home country and have at least some freedom.

They can mistakenly imprison (not deport) a lot of people. Like many things currently going on, this should have people far more concerned.

Oh shes very ideologically right wing and has made awful rulings. But not asblatantly bow to the executive(for lack of a better word) so as Alito and Thomas for example. This is where I am at with this Supreme Court lol

He did so many awful things (increasing the power of the executive, two disastrous wars, increased the surveillance state in guise of keeping America safe and I could go on and on and all under the guise of compassionate conservatism Now the GOP doesnt even hide it lol

One of the many things that has annoyed me about the Trump administration is the whitewashing of the Bush administration. Oh look, he likes painting now. They were terrible in so many ways. They also helped pave the way for what the Trump administration is doing now.

This is the vibe I get from her as well. Very extreme when it comes to stripping away womens reproductive freedom, but apart from that she has been somewhat surprising.
