It means the American people would have a choice to make; surrender to illegal dictatorship, or fight back by any means necessary to restore the will of the people. I believe a general strike of adequate size would be enough to crumble Trumps hold on power. But a civil war is possible. But, also possible that Americans really do just surrender to it without resistance.

Im on the same page. Trump was looking at prison if he lost. That means for him, he had to win by any means necessary. Hes a know cheat, known fraudster, known criminal/felon. The very idea that he wouldnt cheat and leave his life fate to chance, is completely asinine and defies credulity. It was never a matter of IF he would cheat, but that the powers that be identify and prevent his cheat. They failed.

It wont happen on its own. Even if its proven beyond doubt that Harris won, Trump and GOP wont relinquish power willingly. People need to start preparing for the reality that Trump may have cheated and that evidence of a stolen election could come to light. If that happens, nothing short of a nation wide general strike will have any hope of setting things right.

I dont disagree with your assessment, but the American people dont have to accept that whats legal is whats right. If we and/or the electors were duped by fraudulent data at the behest of Trump, its hard to imagine a more worthy cause to shut the country down over.

They also complained incessantly that Obama was a narcissist, if that can be believed. I remember reading this tripe article about one of Obamas speeches where he kept using the word I instead of We and I can only imagine that person applies the same critique of our current president who only talks about himself, brags about himself, and refers to himself in the third person every day.

And the courts will fast track everything and rule against the dem, even if it goes directly against a precedent ruling that happened under Trump.

We are already operating under that assumption, so not much would change then.

One day, a dem is going to be crowned king/president. They had better utilize all the tools, loopholes, and supreme authority that the courts have granted Trump. We must demand it. Its not even about revenge; its to show the whole country that the pendulum eventually swings the other way and this much authority is no good for the president to have. The right will have to be convinced of this through use of the authority, against them. They cheer it now, but perhaps in the future they will snap out of it and join the rest of rational civilization in calling for clear boundaries and balance of power, once it impacts them negatively.

Theres no consequences for lying so what do we expect anymore?

And yet the current POTUS and right wing media sphere is still convinced, to this day, that thats what happened in 2020. I dont think it would that insane of an effort to do it. Covering your tracks and getting rid of all the evidence? That would be much harder.
