Revolver is good for the reasons some have pointed out already. Simple, less moving parts, wont jam like a semi-auto does sometimes. Doesnt hold many bullets, but in most self-defense situations its not likely youll need more than 6 bullets to get the job done. If you do want more bullets get either a Smith and Wesson (I carry the M&P and M&P shield) or get a proven Glock. Low maintenance, affordable and quality firearms

I cant reason people out of a position they didnt reason themselves into. You are mistaken to believe that simply adopting more liberal policies like Medicare for all is going to win the election for democrats. Harris positions on key issues were objectively more popular than Trumps. And most on the left in America lean fairly centrist. There is a media literacy issue in America, a propaganda issue in America, a massive corruption issue in America, that is all leading to someone like Trump winning the election. A not-insignificant number of people were confused as to why Biden wasnt on the ballot on Election Day, for instance. If they dont even know whos running for office, how can they be expected to know what positions a candidate stands for or which one is absolutely full of shit? Its not like the information was difficult to find or assess. Voters just dont really care, and they wont until they are severely impacted by their choices. Trump is ensuring we are well on our way there, I think just like 2020 we wont have to do anything Trump will self-destruct yet again, because he cant govern and hes a terrible liar and a terrible human being.

Inflation was happening world wide due to Covid. Unlike Trump, Biden allowed the Fed to do their job and we had one of the best recoveries among the developed world. We achieved a soft landing, something most economists considered would be nearly impossible. Wouldve never happened under Trump. Homelessness increased under Trumps first term and will do so even more during his second. And at least Biden didnt kiss Netanyahus ass and actually spoke out against him sometimes. Trump actively wants and has supported Israels genocide. Harris ran on taxing the rich to ease the burden on the lower and middle classes, not implement vast and broad tariffs like Trump. She wanted Child tax credits of 6K per child. She was for a two-state solution in Gaza, not a genocidal displacement and replacement with a strip mall like Trump. She wanted to expand healthcare access for Americans, not take it away like Trump and the BBB. She was for a 25K down payment for first time home-buyers. Notably, she was not for sending the military into American cities to crack down on dissent, and wasnt for ICE kidnapping people off the street, without due process, and sending them to foreign torture camps in countries theyve never set foot in before to serve life sentences for crimes theyve never been charged or convicted of. And thats even before getting into the fact shes not a felon, not a convicted fraudster, not an adjudicated rapist, not an insurrectionist. This was all very clear during the election. I dont blame her for the majority of voters being too stupid to properly evaluate the choice before them.

Things got remarkably better under Biden. Trump lost 2.7 million net jobs his first term, the most ever recorded in US history. Biden added something like 15 million net jobs. Just one example.

It looks increasingly that way, just waiting for the shoe to drop so theres actually substance to discuss on that front. Will probably be waiting for a long time.

The voters definitely share some blame, this is an asinine take. Harris ran a far better campaign than Trump and was by every meaningful metric a more qualified and better candidate than Trump. If these same candidates were ran in any other 1st world nation, Harris would have won in a landslide. But in America, right wing propaganda is out of control and voters are apathetic. I also think its crazy to not see that that gender and race hindered Harris because of voter bias.

Is that right? Trump – insurrectionist, Convicted felon, convicted fraudster, adjudicated rapist, etc Harris – not the lesser enough of an evil becausereasons?

So my guess is the strategy will be as follows; Trump runs for a 3rd term, which SCOTUS will argue is not prohibited by the constitution. Trump wins and becomes president elect. SCOTUS delays addressing the issue until after Trump is sworn into office. SCOTUS rules that indeed, Trump being elected is unconstitutional. However, they will rule that it is up to Congress to impeach and remove the president, and theres nothing they can do about it. Trump serves 3rd term. And then they can keep doing this until Trump dies. The good news is that theres a good chance Trump wont live long enough to even pull off 2028, but theres certainly no guarantee.
