Back in the day when waiting months to over a year for the suppressor to be released from jail it could be a consideration. I bought ASR brakes for all my firearms I planned to use the suppressor on and shot them for the months while I waited. It made a difference for those months only, since then I’ve only shot suppressed so it’s irrelevant now.

I’m with satanshand, removing that beautiful wood to replace with aluminum and plastic would be a childish waste and abomination, just don’t.

Yeah hate is a strong word and not in anyway applicable, unless that abomination is pointed at me.

I’m using these Marbles #63 Flat Top Rear Dovetail Sight, they’re solid and simple to install.

Since you’re asking LPVO or irons all the way, don’t look back. IM (not so humble) O dots on lever’s look bad, like really bad. A dot is hardly more advantageous than iron sights, look extremely silly, out of place and kinda pointless, again imo. I’ve kept my R92 traditional and replaced the lame ass bukhorn sights with flat-top dovetail sights, looks good works great. I’ve got a scope on my X357 to give myself more range, options and to be a medium range hunting rifle.

It looks totally fucking cool now. Keep the wood furniture, if you make it “tacticool” it’ll look stupid and juvenile, just like 99% of every other lemming fueled space cowboy.

I paid $750 for my X357 from KyGunCo in June 2020 just before levers became all the rage. A month before that got an R92 in 357 from a pawn shop for $450 peak covid, 16 stainless once I got it realized it had all Steves Gunz upgrades already.

Im no fan of dots on levers but whatever. And honestly with that caliber and reach having a dot just seems silly. To each their own.
