I starting seeing the signs during Pedo in Chief’s first regime and by 2020 I built out my armory, I haven’t needed to buy anything since 2020 except re-upping some ammo as I cycle through my training stash. In 2023 I was going through my closet and saw the body armor and helmet, I shook my head and was like why tf do I have this. It felt alien, slightly paranoid and strange. Then in November of last year it hit me again, those awful feelings of distress and I remembered the emotional state I was in when I bought my armor in 2020. It was no longer alien and it’s been with me since then. It’s heartbreaking and scary and honestly it’s fucking exhausting. Keep your training sharp and your ammo boxes full, keep your head high and your eyes open. Be well comrades, good hunting.

Hey welcome to the club. Something to bear in mind when buying firearms and accessories is CS and warranty, things can get broken down, become worn out or defective. Rugers CS is top tier, S&W is great as well but slower turn around. Both companies send shipping labels and theres very rarely any cost to repair and in many cases replace components. Taurus CS sucks so Ive heard, also the QC is not consistent. I have no input on Stoeger and SA about their CS.

Yes to 9mm, Ruger and S&W > Taurus, no experience with Stoeger or SA. Plenty of experience with both Ruger and Smith and theyre tried and true excellent entry to advanced level firearms at great price points.

The 1100 was my father’s and my first firearm. I’ve built out my armory and don’t plan / need to buy any more platforms / firearms, I’m all set. A few years ago I made the commitment that I’m done unless upgrading a system, one goes out if one comes in, so not planning to get rid of the 1100. It is a good consideration however. If I decide to break my own rules it may be shotgun suppressor and 88, if it has threaded options. Good hunting!

okay, my 1100 doesn’t cycle slugs as far as I know 9mm, .556 or buckshot head and groin for me
