As a Greek American with half my family from the Peloponnese (region of Sparta) I would be so stoked to reclaim it. I grew up with tales of Sparta, read Gates of Fire in the 90s after reading / collecting 300 (Frank Miller comics) and almost got Molon Labe tattooed, glad I didn’t. I have so much pride and history in the Spartan tradition, it kills me that it’s been coopted. edit: I don’t think 99. 9% of Americans are capable of looking their neighbors in the face and murdering them, but I’m ready if they want to try. I’m not advocating for starting a fight, violence is my last resort, however I’m ready to finish one. I gotta say, half my neighbors are conservative / MAGA and I am a neighbor first. I help them just as much as my neighbor’s I know are liberal, we are a community first. If there was a “civil war” here in Southern Oregon it would be really confusing and disjointed. I believe most folks in communities put neighbors / family / friends above politics but that’s hard to say for certain, maybe I’m fooling myself with optimism. I’ve found it’s super easy to be hateful and resentful from afar on social media (reddit is my only sm) but once we’re face-to-face common ground becomes prevalent. I have a sister and her husband who flipped MAGA last year and I have cut them off, still a relationship from afar. But like I said every single neighbor I’m neighborly with regardless of politics.. well except for one who a few weeks ago got in my face about something stupid and simple. I did actually associate this situation with my “liberal” stance as I did have a Biden Harris banner last year. Fuck, it’s complicated. edit2: TIL many y’all are a bunch of homophobes and have no respect for differing cultures and ways of life. Reading through many of these comments is insulting, intolerant and offensive. As heterosexual Greek of Spartan heritage, y’all can go fuck yourselves. I ain’t gonna.

I’ve tried almost all of em and now rotate them out so I can burn through some. When I need to rebuy it’ll likely be CLP as my goto, the spray not the foaming. I like dry lube for all my rimfire’s, Hornady or Liquid Wrench are both great. I like to use Ballistol and have tried it on my firearms, although now primary use for its on my axes to clean and keep conditioned.
