My father’s shotgun became my first firearm. Nothing to get over, it was always there. In my experience asking that question is weird, I don’t relate to it at all.

I don’t know anything about We except we’re not a monolith (here) and it annoys tf out of me on any sub when people ask about what We are doing. Total pet peeve. Also I don’t let politics get in the way of my firearms, ammo and accessory decisions otherwise I wouldn’t have anything. To answer though I’ve been running a Primary Arms ACSS 5x and it’s a fantastic versatile (and affordable) optic that I can use both eyes open CQ and reach out to 400+ yards readily. It’s kind of a poor mans ACOG. Love it. On my AR9 I run a Romeo5 and 3x Juliette.

I work with justice involved individuals, the formerly incarcerated and sometimes in facilities so quite often my edc is in a lockbox attached under the seat to my locked truck. I can’t always carry but I can make sure I can always get to it if I need to. My instinct is that the use case which would affect me most is in a situation where I choose to behave defensively or protect. If I’m caught in a self-defense scenario where another is armed and I’m not, I’ll deal with it. If I live I live, if not then I’ll do better next life. Stay frosty folks. Do what you can. Be a part of the solution. Defend your community.

Of all the concerns with this administration and time, this is not high on my list. And to your point, yes Palantir has everything nicely organized and laid out of all our registered arms and NFA, there’s no doubt or question there. If they’re doing individual searches or even grouping along with registered party affiliation it’s all very clear, and there’s no reason to think they’re not compiling this info.

To get gun data collection on all Americans would be far more complicated and expensive. I believe you’re incorrect about this, with Palantir it’s very simple to compile and do mass data collection using party affiliation with registered firearms & NFA and build simple databases according to location or any other groupings. It’s no more expensive at all, it’s a matter of inputting the parameters and commands, that’s the function of Palantir.
