The problem is the American peopleare the American people lol. For example people HATE health insurance companies, but they also absolutely lost their minds when Obama said they could keep their insurance under the ACA and that turned out not to be entirely true. Democrats were decimated in the midterms for even taking that extremely mild step to eventual universal healthcare.

Right or they just assume that someone will swoop in and magically stop the things they dont like. And during that time Republicans took control of so many levers of power. And it drives me crazy how people still dont understand how detrimental of a loss the Supreme Court is. Ok Im off my soapbox now

I dont want to see empty gestures for show that wont really accomplish anything. What I would like to see from Democrats is take the Ben Winkler (Wisconsin DNC chair) approach and do outreach to all states. Meet and talk with voters even in areas for too long they have just ceded to republicans.

That time was back in November! I know I might be downvoted for this, but American voters need to take agency and responsibility for this. Far too many people passively sat at home and watched this happen. Now they want democrats, who voters kicked out of power, to somehow save them.
