Hell, the Ukrainians and Russians are doing colored arm tape today. And they have equipment for IDing enemies! A lil bit of identification coloring on the battlefield seems smart, irrespective of time period.

I love all their series: Secrets of the Castle, Victorian Farm, etc., but Tudor Monastery Farm was my favorite by far. Edit: I could imagine living in the time, but Ruth tends to downplay the Black Death.
