You must have gotten lucky. Since Keen split and a portion of the company started Obos(WAY better, but no wide sizes), theyve been made in overseas factories vs in Oregon. My past 4 pairs(2 summer and 2 winter) shit out on me in varying ways. 2 pairs the soles separated from the foot after a few months. One pair the lace loop snapped off after 4 months. And another pair both toes at the seam of the composite toe attachment severed themselves after 6 months. I do the same work still and treat my Red Wings the same as Keens, and in comfort, durability, and price, you just can’t beat Red Wings. You’ll forget you’re wearing them.
