Many of us do know how dangerous this is AND seeing the vast majority of comments and replies on this sub the last few days is settling. If all the comments and posts were in support of this madness us people would feel hopeless. You give hope. We are not ALL lost. Thank you for your service in defense of the Constitution and our country. First time I felt qualified to respond on the sub.

Civi here, I rarely engage directly in this sub (or NG) and I’ve been following / observing since the occupation of LA. I know reddit in general skews to the left and there’s still plenty of right wingers and wingnuts around, they’ve got their “safe spaces”, lol. The community here has been very level headed, informed, often entertaining, mostly open armed and has given me relief (encouragement) and provided a lot of hope through all this. At the same time over at NG the community is almost the opposite, gatekeeping, aggressive and it feels like the majority of people speaking up fall into the red hat right wingnut category. Do you have any insight on that? From within does it feel more balanced or does it skew to one side politically?

There needs to be a response. The only democratic nonviolent option left is civil disobedience that leads to General Strike and stopping the economic engine in its tracks. Every day this is getting worse and it will be harder to turn it around. We cant wait for the next elections, which we all know will be illegitimate. Well at least 1/3 of the country has, fucking disgusting, disgraceful and absolutely appalling. We need to take our country back and I dont see how it can wait for the electoral process, which wont ever be legitimate.
