What we arent getting is that this is what MAGA wants. They know whos side this guy is on just as much as we do. But they want us wasting time and energy debating it and getting twisted up in arguing basic facts and common sense so were not actually putting the pressure on them and demanding accountability for MAGA domestic terrorism.

The fact is, its completely irrelevant if Trump was shot at. He made the post before he was shot at, not that it matters because getting shot at doesnt give you permission to ramp up violent rhetoric that gets people killed, which should be obvious to any intellectually honest person.

I maintain that in order to be MAGA, you have to buy into multiple nonsensical conspiracy theories. Its a cult with corresponding lore that must be accepted and believed in order to rationalize the insane positions it demands you stand for. Ive never been wrong on this. Every single MAGA will, in the course of any political conversation that exceeds 10 minutes, will espouse beliefs in multiple conspiracy theories.

I agree with you on principle, but I do wonder where is the outrage at the obscene waste and fraud Trump is singularly responsible for? 400K raises some eyebrows, sure. 400 million, not a peep from these same people. The issue here is that its fake outrage. Its performative, when people are pretending to be upset about Walz needing 400K. Mustering a valid defense, as you have, is a waste of time because these people dont actually care about the minutiae or details. They need a cheap reason to hate on the left and ignore when the right does it literally 100 times worse with no good explanation whatsoever.

Reminder: Trump makes hundreds of millions illegally while in office, right now, with multiple Hatch Act violations. Reminder: Trump costs taxpayers millions by golfing incessantly, forcing secret service and other government employees to stay at his resorts effectively pocketing millions in taxpayer funds to his businesses so he can golf instead of doing his job.
