I agree with you and appreciate the civil discourse. I guess I felt the need to connect with other fans of MurderBot who also feel a similar disappointment. The sub is chockfull of happy fans and I wanted to find out if I’m alone in this. I didn’t go into specific details that disappointed me in the post, I have on comments here and other threads. Basically the lack of believable SecUnit capabilities, no drones, too easily breached and fooled, lack of responsive firepower. Also the writing, casting and acting in general has felt lazy and a bit pandering.

The Expanse , Station 11 and Silo are all recent productions with fantastic book to show adaptations. All these adaptations were different than the books, Station 11 changed the story dramatically and was amazing. Andor was amazing as well. For All Mankind and Raised by Wolves were/are great.

Character portrayal, the writing, casting and acting in general. The lack of capabilities inherent to SecUnits which make for lazy show plot points. No drones, lame defensive capabilities; security and safety systems. I can go on. It really is lazy.
