There’s no quality difference. Stores like Sam’s and Costco buy large quantities of products so they get a discount and pass some of their savings onto the customer.

I’m no expert, but I’ve seen people recommend vanilla paste instead of extract. Something about freezing it causes it to taste weird.

I hear ya, my gf made one last night and I got it out and did a light ice cream first and then 2 respins and it did nothing for the texture, basically came out looking like yours and I added milk each time before a respin.

I don’t have it, but I am curious how easy it is to clean. Lots of internal moving parts that get exposed to the ice cream compared to the Deluxe. That would be my biggest reason not to get the soft serve.
