Sure you can live in NYC making 64-70k a year but you will be living in a closet and eating ramen everyday. Might as well live in Jersey to save money on taxes. Best thing OP can do is get a new job that pays more if he wants to stay.

Sounds like you need to like in Jersey or deep Brooklyn. $70k is significantly below the livable wage in NYC my friend.

Anytime someone says rest assured multiple times in an email, you should not be assured in the slightest.

Whats the cross streets and when did you start your lease?

Use StreetEasy or Zillow, but for $2.5k a month in Manhattan you will be in a closet or a super dirty apartment. I would look at Jersey city, Long Island city, parts of Brooklyn or up by Harlem

Are you going to be living abroad and traveling to work? No idea where you would afford an apartment unless you have 7 roommates in a 2 bedroom.

Calling animal control will warrant a visit to the apartment

If I was a landlord and saw 3 couples want to move into a 3 bedroom Id rip up your application without hesitation. You need significantly more space than what a 3 bedroom apartment can give you.
