Is your new spot big enough for its own subreddit? Maybe youll find some connections and events there? I had to move to Sarasota for 6 months once for work; i described the experience as excitingly dull. A wildly different place with unfamiliar people and localesand nobody to do anything with. Or even know where to go(and this was pre-social media etc)

The city-states of that era would engage in ritual combat, their champions wearing the garish colors of their king or clan. We know it was ritualistic, since advanced (for the time) medical facilities were found close by, yet no large burial sites, which one would expect from repeated, heavily armored combat.
