Yes its kinda loud, definitely louder than my predator inverter. In a long term outage Id only run one to two hours a day to keep water & septic pumping and refrigerator & freezer cool. I have a wood stove for heat and an ancient oak tree keeping the house cool. With the propane I have on hand I can go about 1.5months running two hours a day. Its a good budget solution.

I have this one, paid $950 about 6 months ago. It’s fantastic and backs up my home if needed, although yet to use only tested so far.

It’s a cheap counter-measure and does a great job, according to protestors in HK and other sources I’ve seen / read about. Pointing it at a person is asking to get shot. Fuck that.

Good advice. I would never do that. It’s a prep / counter measure to cameras only, not people. And I would only pull it out in an already escalating scenario.

It’s a blessing and a curse though, I’ve saved money on so many things I have yet to need. So it’s cost me more than not knowing about the deals, of course when I use anything I’ve bought from this sub I smile big. Grateful for NEP all the more.
