Learning to garden and understanding how to process / store seeds and long term vegetable storage (freezing, dehydrating, canning, etc.) is a great start. I’ve been prepping since pre-Y2K and only the last 4 years was able to transition to longer term solutions. All the rentals and contingencies prior to buying my property was in preparation for when I could. I had gardens at almost every home in between and chickens when I could.

Not sure what kind of prepper you are but transitioning from a deep pantry / bunker prepper to a sustainable long term lifestyle in homesteading prepping and cultivating / nourishing community IMO is the best prep a person / family can have. Deep pantry / bunker really is only short term whereas homesteading / establishing renewable sustainable systems is long term for life and quality thereof.

What the fuck ever works jfc use the bag that everything fits in and you can comfortably carry. It’s not a fashion contest or anything at all to overthink let alone ask a bunch of group think lemmings to chime in on. So done with these type of posts

Nice op, congrats! I called, got the specs and the way my home set up with filter and pressure tank below ground level in basement its not an easy install. Theres too many complications, it can done but certainly not plugn play.

Thats gonna be different for every person, theres not gonna be any good answers here AND its a silly question to begin with. You want enough ammo to where you dont need to worry about buying it for the foreseeable future. You want practice, defensive as well as hunting ammo if youre a hunter. As you cycle through your ammo you replace it. Keeping your own armory to a place of confidence and a level where you are set. Its best to buy in bulk to save money. If see a great deal jump on it. Ammo.seek is your friend

Yeah I was thinking the same question. I think soap and water, scrub hard, maybe bleach after.
