I dont know why you are taking a mocking tone here. I agree with you. Stanleys is great. Anyway. Right around the time they opened the location in Providence, they did some work on the original location, including some work on the kitchen chiefly the grill-top replacement.

Any place that remodels and replaces their old grill top only to suffer such egregious financial losses that they resort to reinstalling the former, decades-seasoned grill top to find that it indeed was the secret to their success is a place that should be venerated and held in the highest regard as a local and state institution.
