Bread and Circuses, sportsball is approved by the state. Citizens may cheer or jeer as they like. The state does not approve of criticism or negative emotions being expressed about Hitler Trump, Musk, or the rest of the government. Reddit will work with the state to make such people healthy members of society again.

Reddit is now deciding if you feel too strongly about a subject or not. Reddit will be telling you if they think you feel too strongly about a subject. What other subjects will they begin monitoring your opinions on using this as a precedent? Maybe Reddit will tell you that you are criticizing the government too much. Maybe Steve Huffan ( CEO, /u/spez ) will invite Elon Musk to look at your voting data.

See a therapist if you can afford it. Have a talk with your parents and tell them what you told us. It may not help, but when they die it will comfort you to be able to tell yourself you tried. As for your friendships and other relationships don’t put energy into other people who will not put it back into you. Maybe have a talk, once. If they don’t change their behavior stop initiating contacts with them. Find new people who will initiate things with you.

Take a Strong Campbell Interest Inventory through your university while you still can ( the ones online are of inferior quality only good for entertainment ). Note which fields you match with closely, then research which of those fields match the most closely with specialties you are thinking about. Pick one with good career opportunities.

The policy about encouraging violence and threats came from behavior in the /r/The_Donald before the 2016 election. The right wing has always been the “innovators” in political violence in the U.S.: Abortion clinic bombings. Bombing government buildings ( McVeigh, Oklahoma ) Driving cars into people ( Charlottesville ) Church shootings The attempted overthrow of the government on January 6th Murdering CEOs Sabotaging the power grid I’m sure other people can name activities they “pioneered”. Shit bag people.
