I can see why. The writing in your post is more appropriate for a journal entry you don’t intend to keep but write anyway to get your emotions out of your system. It isn’t writing meant to clearly communicate with other people. Reddit isn’t your private journal, it is made of people.

In the words (paraphrasing) of Morgan Freeman’s character from “The Shawshank Redemption”: get busy living, or get busy dying. find what you like about your life figure out what you would still like to experience in your life – and start working toward it. #2 – see what is still within your control to get find a mental map: religion, a philosophy, something get fit, eat healthy, work towards those things accept being middle aged – acceptance isn’t resignation, it is not freaking out when you see reality.

A midlife crisis is an existential crisis. You realize you aren’t going to be young forever. Age related loss started and will lead to others -> existential crisis.

My neighborhood does not have that many native plant gardens for lawns, but the few that are there are fantastic. The flowers are beautiful. The owners even put in little placards telling you about the plants. Native plants save loads of water too.

My county outlawed gas powered leaf blowers out of concern for the environment. Just so happens that electric leaf blowers are much less noisey. 🙂 New Balance-wearing dads #1-3 #1-3? What does the brand of sneaker have to do with it?
