Also “link flinging” posting links without a line or two telling you why you should invest your time posting links that they haven’t watched I have a reddit friend who does this and who complains nobody comments on his threads. Very few people will take time out of their day to watch a 20 minute video, especially if they don’t have an idea about the content they will find. Too many other things going on.

It does sound odd, but I am getting a bit tired of people accusing others of being bots every time they read something they do not like.

I’ve only had fender benders. It hasn’t.

Could have been an investment that turned bad or a costly health issue.

On social media, posting a link for a video is a good way to make sure nobody looks at it. 🙂 As far as how to do something goes, I prefer written instructions instead of patiently watching someone drag their caret across their screen. Written news articles tend to be poorly written on purpose ( more room for ads ) these days. You get some bloat for an introduction, then the nugget of facts, and then a lot more bloat after that. I usually give up somewhere in the post-fact bloat. I get frustrated and I wonder if I missed anything.

/u/Impossible_Guard6978 Ive been financially independent aside from living at home. What a messed up phrase. Sign of the times, I guess. No disrespect to you. Your decisions are yours to make – even if others do not like those decisions or if those decisions bring you sadness. You are 20 years old. You are an adult. They made poor financial decisions I realize it is off topic in the context of this thread, but I can’t see thinking it is okay to retire and running out of money after only a few years. Did something unpredicitable and costly happen? Health issue? Bad investments? Do not buy a house with your boyfriend until you are married to him. That, or have something set up with a lawyer to financially protect both of you.
