The accusation of being a bot is the new “fake news!” used by people who deal with things they don’t want to hear by trying to deny it out of existence. It is a childish thing to do, but even children learn quickly they can’t do that.

You can get some wonderful replies in RFG. There are also a lot of people who will kick you when you open up, make assumptions, rubbish you etc. It happened to me once a number of years ago. That was the last time I had a deeply personal conversation here. There are a lot of unhappy and emotionally retarded people on Reddit who will be mean as shit to people for entertainment.

I just tried that with my bank. They told me I have to at least download their app to register Zelle, then I can use it through their web site.

If youre not tech savvy then Im not surprised. I’m been a computer programmer for over 20 years. I never got a bank app because while I have heard good things about SMS safety I am paranoid about other apps reading data from my phone.
