Looked at the web site for my bank and the web site for Zelle. It doesn’t look like I can get set up with Zelle without downloading my bank’s app.

I tip my hairstylist with cash so he has the option of how honest he wants to be with the IRS. I don’t eat at sit down restaurants that often, anymore, so a wait staff person having an electronic trail of their income with the IRS hasn’t been an issue I’ve thought about a lot.

The inverse is how I felt. For a one time $20 thing I wasn’t going to bother setting up an account. Someone else will want my table. I don’t carry cash either. My purchases are usually through stores, online or offline ( that accept debit cards ).

All of the places I grocery shop give cash back, so I just do it that way.

If your bank has a website, it very likely has access to Zelle. Unlike Venmo, it does not need to be downloaded as an app Thank you!
