Im in tech but anti-app, and even more so anti-banking apps. Same. I did specify cash only. The dude who contacted me about the table wasn’t on Facebook and didn’t read the ad. His sister texted him about it.

Look into /r/personalfinance about getting a personal loan to consolidate all of your bills to protect your credit rating and possibly get a lower interest rate. You wrote that you have no time for hobbies either, aside from not having money. Think about giving long walks and the public library a try. Maybe there is a hobby like meditation you can learn for free on YouTube. Consider asking your family for help moving to an area where you have a chance at a better job.

New tech is more secure I’ve read good things about the SMS protocol. I’ve also seen plenty of headlines about some apps pulling information off of phones and from other apps.

It still can be if you are willing to pay to go to a movie theater. You just have to wait for 6 or more months until the 1 worthy movie for adults comes out – so I guess it would be an occasion.

You might be right. I was curious how his son was old enough to drive, but did not have a card of any kind or access to cash. Then again, what scammer would be waiting for me to just come along and sell a table? I told the guy we could do the sale on another day when he had access to cash, but something tells me I will never hear from again.
