I think downvoting makes it worse. People do that instead of dealing with things they don’t like reading in other ways. I think it trains redditors to be mean. If you bring up the idea that downvoting should go away you will get angry responses defending and rationalizing downvoting.

/u/Super_Pin_8836 yes, agreed, people are really on Reddit. They can also be especially mean in /r/RedditForGrownups. Think twice before opening up about a problem in /r/RedditForGrownups. Some miserable person may decide to make you their entertainment by kicking you when you are down. I’ve seen it happen to other many times and had it happen to myself several years ago – the last time I tried to be personal her.

I’m not a mental health professional, nor do I play one on T.V.. I would find one, or a good listener who you can talk about this with. On your own you could go cold turkey with e-stalking her. Perhaps block her, uninstall apps, etc. At the same time you could start building up your social network, making friends, going out, etc. Maybe you are focused on her life, because your own life is a bit empty, and by filling up your own life it will be easier to naturally become unconcerned with hers.

I know about cats ( all hale our feline overlords! ), but what is faerie smut? A lot redditors want any (attractive) person as their GF for the validation of saying they have a GF. They don’t want to lead the life that would get them one: going out, socializing, etc.

Your group categorically condemns slavery? Your group doesn’t have a problem with abortion or gays? Your group doesn’t want prayer or religion in public schools? Your group is fine with other religions, agnosticism, and atheism coexisting with you? Your group isn’t seeking to christianize the American government?
