ah yes garrett whitlock imploding repeatedly is coras fault. tanner houck setting new mlb records for suck is coras fault lol. this sub is insufferable. he won with a good team in 18, and he got a team in 21 (with 133 games played by bobby dalbec!) to the postseason when they had next to no business being there. THE TEAM IS PLAYING .500 BALL IN MAY. THEY ARE THREE GAMES OUT OF FIRST PLACE IN THE EAST IN MAY. can he manage the bullpen better? YES OMG. that will always be the knock on him. but he isnt the reason they are losing these games and he has done a bang-up job at the helm of whats been an objectively shitty team for a few years running. YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY THEY ARE AT .500 RIGHT NOW. but nothings ever good enough for some of you losers. we could win the fucking pennant and youd all be like mmm MAYBE we need to fire WALLY? look. i live in denver. i am constantly lambasting rockies fans for how young a fan base they arenot age-wise, but baseball-wiseand for how horrible they can be to their players. but they havent been through shit. we have. 86 fucking years. greats and goons. ups and downs. we should be better than this. we should have a broader perspective of the game than some you project. the chicken-littling with yall is insane. this team hasnt clicked yet (at all) and they are still very much afloat. they get into rhythm together (in all phases) and the league is in fucking trouble. cora is a man who can get a team there. he is a great baseball mind with a player-first approach. these guys love him. on an individual level, they all have things to work on. if they tackle those things they will be fine. seacrest out.

Cora and Breslow arent on the same page because no, fuck you Craig, Raffy isnt playing first base. Lets talk about Coras bullpen management or lineups. Raffy is a disaster in the field but a special hitter who deserves some credit for making the mental shift from playing his natural (albeit shitty) position to only hitting. The team didnt have any depth at first base heading into the season? Well that sounds like a president of baseball operations problem, not a terrible-third-baseman-you-asked-to-move-off-of-his-natural-position problem. And it certainly isnt a players-first-questionable-bullpen-and-lineup-decision manager problem.

Im in this video. The homer he hits into the Monster at 4:01 hit my hand on the fly and I was unable to catch or corral it. (Thats me coming down the stairs in the grey shirt and black cap) I had just added him to my team in my dynasty league THAT DAY and then was telling everyone in the league he was gonna go deep that night and I was going to catch it. I was partly right! One of my biggest regrets in life, to this day, is not going at it with two hands. I was there with like eight or nine friends, we had Green Monster SRO tix. I should have just said Hold my beer! Thanks for sharing the vid. Great job!

i believe all the talk i hear from current and former big leaguers that the move from 3rd to 1st is never easy for bad third basemen. and raffy is really bad at the hot corner.

hes your DH now. his defense does not matter. actually i take that back. his defense is so bad it should preclude him from the 1B job.

Its so funny that you wrote significantly better Devers 2025: 938 pitches, 215 PA, 180 AB, 52 H (29 1B, 14 2B, 0 3B, 9 HR), .289 BA, 54 SO (25.1%), 35 BB (16.1%) .397 wOBA, 95.1 EV Bregman 2025: 820 pitches, 210 PA, 185 AB, 56 H (29 1B, 16 2B, 0 3B, 11 HR), .303 BA, 38 SO (18.1%), 19 BB (9%), .409 wOBA, 92.3 EV Among qualified hitters: Devers ranks 18th in Barrels/PA, Bregman 86th. Devers ranks in the 90th percentile or better in xwOBA, xBA, xSLG, xISO, xOBP, Brl, Brl%, EV and HardHit%. Bregman ranks in the 90th percentile in * checks notes * none of those categories. ETA: I see nothing significantly better about Bregmans year from the first group of stats. And when I look at the expected statistics and quality of contact metrics I see a better hitter in Raffy. Maybe significantly so.
